Ice Rink Research

Most people know of this blog for it's primary purpose, the Zamboni Driver's perspective of the Cincinnati Cyclones. But many people stumble across it doing a search about the cost of running an ice rink on Google or other search engines. Google that phrase and this blog is the second entry, hitting on my post from December 8, 2006.

It amazes me how many people - from around the world - seem to be doing research on the cost of building and operating an ice rink. I guess that speaks well for ice sports around the world, if people are researching facility costs.

That blog entry does not have specifics, it's just generalizations about the cost so readers can get an appreciation of why prices might be so high. Still, it is very cool that people find and read the blog. I hope they have found it useful.

I would love to get some feedback from people doing this research - where else you sought information, how useful my information and others' was, and mostly: Did you actually buy or build an ice rink?
