The Nets Are Laced
It is a tedious process, about 4 hours per net just for lacing (add time to paint with epoxy enamel paint and let dry) but it has to be done. We finished the net replacements today, they won't be used until Saturday's home opener so they'll be bright and shiny.
With each "stitch" of the net to the frame, I chanted "Kelly Cup" in my head for good luck. I did this when I strung the nets for the 2007-08 Championship Season. I didn't do the nets last year - so I'm hoping this will be part of new championship mojo to for 2009-10
Maybe my blisters will be gone by Saturday.
